GUST organized a voluntary donation on February 29 to support the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic. The majority of party members of GUST, teachers and students included, took part in the donation voluntarily and actively.
As of April 1, a total of 1,215 teachers and students participated in the donation and donated a total of 76436.18 yuan, which has been collected and handed over as required. The donation will be mainly used in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 to help medical personnel, grassroots cadres, public security and community workers who are fighting at the front line of the COVID-19 epidemic prevention as well as control and people whose families died of the COVID-19 or in the fight against the virus epidemic.
The donation fully reflects the exemplary role of GUST's party members, including teachers and students, interprets the sense of social responsibility, gathers positive energy to work together to fight against the COVID-19, and is a meaningful practice of always keeping in mind of the original goal.
