The Education and Work Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Guangdong Province held a video conference of the province's educational system to strictly govern the party's work, summarizing and evaluating the work completed in 2019, and then deploying work in 2020 on the afternoon of April 23. GUST has set up a parallel session in the conference room 512 of the Administration Building of Nancheng Campus. Leaders of administration departments as well as the party of the university, and the heads of relevant departments participated in the meeting.
According to the conference, the year 2020 is the year in which people of China will build a moderately well-off society in an all-round way, the poverty will be alleviated and also it is the last year of the 13th Five-Year Plan. The meeting demanded that the party organizations at all levels in Guangdong Province's educational system should firmly implement the spirit of the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the significant decisions made by the Party Central Committee and guide the majority of party members and cadres in the educational system. We must not forget our original goals and bear in mind our mission, and consolidate the responsibilities of comprehensively and strictly governing the party’s main body in order to combat the epidemic outbreak and achieve the goal of reform and development in the educational system throughout the year.
