The Department of Higher Education of the Chinese Ministry of Education (MOE) issued the "Notice on Announcement of the List of Approved Projects for Industry-University Cooperation and Collaborative Education in 2020" ([2021] No. 3) recently, which released the first batch of industry-university cooperation and collaborative education projects approved by MOE in 2020. 8 projects of GUST have been included in the list, which shows that the number of projects of GUST approved by MOE has reached a new high.

According to the Notice, GUST’s projects approved by MOE include 2 projects of "New Engineering, New Medicine, New Agriculture, and New Construction of Liberal Arts", 2 projects of "Teaching Content and Curriculum System Reform", 3 projects of "Teacher Training", and 1 project of "Conditions & Base Construction of Practice".
That a number of projects of GUST have been approved by MOE demonstrates the effectiveness in the efforts made by GUST in strengthening the industry-university cooperation in recent years. In accordance with the relevant documents issued by MOE, GUST will continue to strengthen the guidance, management as well as promotion of projects to be approved by MOE, and carefully organize the implementation and construction of the projects. In the future, GUST will continue to further promote the school-enterprise cooperation, and continuously improve the quality of application and the training of applied high-level talents.
