GUST’s Military Training Performance and the Award Ceremony of 2021 freshmen was grandly held at the track and field stadium of the Songshan Lake Campus on the morning of Sept. 28.
Feng Zhenpeng, Deputy Commander of the Military Sub-district in Dongguan, Lin Dongsheng, Director of the Training Base of Education in National Defense in Dongguan, Lieutenant Colonel Yuan Xuhui, Staff Officer of the Military Sub-district in Dongguan, GUST’s President Liang Ruixiong, Wu Nianxiang, Supervisor designated by the People’s Government of Guangdong Province and the Secretary of the school’s communist party committee, GUST’s Vice President Wu Liping, Chen Biaoxin, Deputy Secretary of the school’s communist party committee and GUST’s Vice President, GUST’s Vice President Li Cai, Bi Huidong, Assistant of GUST’s President, heads of relevant departments and deans of secondary colleges attended the grand ceremony.
President Liang Ruixiong reviewed the performance of the military training. After the performance, Vice President Chen Biaoxin announced the commendation decision of commending the collectives and individuals who performed well in the military training. Secretary Wu Nianxiang then delivered a speech, in which she affirmed the success of the military training performance and hoped that all freshmen would carry on the good ideas, good styles, and good habits cultivated in the military training to their studies and life.
