GUST held its on-site review meeting of the recipients of the National Scholarship of 2021 successfully in the Lecture Hall 4-101 and 5-101 at Nancheng Campus on the evening of October 10th. Wu Liping, GUST’s Vice President, Bi Huidong, Assistant to GUST’s President, deans and deputy deans of secondary colleges, and heads of relevant administrative departments attended the meeting as judges of the National Scholarship recipients.
The China National Scholarship is the highest level of scholarship funded by the Chinese central government to award outstanding students in Chinese universities and colleges, whose criteria are also the most standardized and stringent. At the end of the meeting, a total of 21 outstanding students of GUST were seriously selected to be awarded the National Scholarship of this year. There were also a number of freshmen of 2021 attending the meeting and several were chosen to come to the stage to express their feelings about the meeting.
