The inauguration ceremony of the Branch for Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools, Guangdong Association of Higher Education (BCFCRS, GAHE) was held in South China Normal University on October 23, in which the academic seminar with the theme of “developing high-quality Chinese-Foreign cooperation in running schools” was held as well.

The BCFCRS, GAHE was officially founded in the ceremony, and GUST was elected Vice-Chair Member Organization. Zhou Er’yong, Executive Vice President of GUST, was elected as the vice chairman; Huang Shuiping, Dean of the College of International Education of GUST, and Zeng Xianghui, Director of Teachers’ Development Center of GUST, were elected as the council members.
The BCFCRS, GAHE is a professional and non-profit academic organization engaged in the scientific research in Chinese-Foreign cooperation in running schools, and aims to make efforts to promote the sustainable development of Chinese-Foreign cooperation in running schools, advance opening-up of higher education, contribute to the realization of educational modernization as well as the creation of an international demonstration zone of higher education.
