In the afternoon of Nov.10th ,finals of the Second Dongguan College Students Mobile Internet Application Design Competition (hereinafter referred as "the finals") was held at City College of Dongguan University of Technology ,in which our GUET teams from Computer Department were awared two first prizes,one second prize,one third prize and two tutor awareds of excellence,and for the First Competition last year,GUST teams were also awarded the first prize,displaying our competitive edge in mobile Internet appication design.
This competition was divided into two sections of preliminaries and finals. 11 teams from Guangdong University of Science & Technology,City College of Dongguan University of Technology and Xinhua College of Sun Yat-Sen University participated in the finals. And GUST teams---"Chidren's Sound System" and "GuanXiang GUST" were awarded the first prizes respectively,second prize for team"GUSE Spark",third prize for GUST"Wise Hotel Management System" and tutor awards of excellence for Huang Xinxin and Qiu Linrun,teachers from Computer Department of GUST.
Computer Department of GUST holds the teaching method of "Competition promotes learning and teaching" all the times ,inspiring the students" learning interest,enhancing their learning motivation and improving their comprehensive quality.Meanwhile,it actively utilizes the leading and promotion functions of academic competition to create an environment and atmosphere of science love,innovation and competition eagerness.
