Recently, Degree Committee of Guangdong Province released Filing Notice about 2017 Newly Added Bachelor Degree Licensing Programs of Guangdong Higher Education Institutions by Degree Committee of Guangdong Province (Guangdong Degree Letter [2017]4), publicating 123 new bachelor degree licensing programs of higher education institutions in Guangdong Province. And 7 more programs of Guangdong University of Science and Technology (GUST) get bachelor degree authorization this time, which are Financial Engineering, International Business, Network Engineering, Engineering of Internet of Things, Costume Design, Financial Management and Logistics Management. By far, GUST have a total number of 12 bachelor degree licensing programs.
During the process of preparing the assessment materials, the functional departments and teaching departments of GUST conducted close cooperation with each other, attaching great importance to summarizing the schooling philosophy, program characteristics, course system, teaching resources building and teaching management of GUST. And after several rounds of self-assessment and assessment by other professionals, GUST submitted detailed and accurate assessment materials to Guangdong Provincial Education Department and finally got the recognization by experts of Provincial Degree Office.
