From September 20 to 21, 2018, the Ministry of Education -- key teachers of China Unicom Vocational Colleges "Network Learning Space Renrentong" special training class was held in Guangdong University of Science and Technology(GUST). Nearly 200 officials and teachers from different cities of the country attended the training at the 4-101 lecture hall. Some teachers from brother schools from Nanbo Group, such as Guangzhou Nanyang Polytechnic College, South China Business Trade College and GUST, participated in the training. GUST President HUANG Tao attended the class and GUST President Assistant LI Cai hosted the opening ceremony.
On the morning of September 20, LI Jing, director of the special training program of "Renrentong online learning space" of the Ministry of Education, introduced the training program. Then, President HUANG Tao, gave a welcome speech and made a report on the reform of information technology and talent training mode in higher vocational colleges, which emphasized the importance of education informatization and the necessity of talent training mode reform from the macro level. On the afternoon of 20th, LI Han, Associate Professor of Hunan Chemical Vocational Technology College , summarized and shared the teaching innovation and practice on the ideological and political course she taught. After that, GUST teachers QIU Lingrun and JIN Biao respectively narrated their informatization application skills and experience in teaching.
On the morning of September 21, GUST lecturers, ZHOU Pengfei and ZHOU Lixiang, respectively demonstrated their cloud space courses and shared their experiences. After that, the experts and teachers went to visit the laboratory of informatization of GUST. LI Bing, Deputy Director of the Office of Teaching Affairs of GUST, made a summary of the training, responded to questions raised by all the audiences, and stressed that teachers make good use of various teaching resources and platforms to improve the information technology of teaching.
