The 2021 Academic Seminar with the theme of “High-quality Development of Higher Education in the New Era: Strategies, Measures, and Paths” of the Guangdong Institute of Higher Education hosted by the Guangdong Institute of Higher Education and undertaken by GUST was successfully held in Dongguan on October 30. More than 60 leaders, experts, scholars and young teachers from Guangdong Province, including the President of GUST Liang Ruixiong and the Secretary of the CPC Committee of GUST Wu Nianxiang, as well as leaders, experts and teachers from institutions of higher education in other provinces, as well as leaders of relevant institutions and enterprises in education and scientific research, and students from relevant graduate programs of institutions of higher education attended the seminar.
GUST’s undertaking this influential academic event reflects the efforts it has made in the promotion of the high-quality development of higher education. A total of 44 academic papers and 3 paper abstracts were included in this seminar and formed into a collection of papers. The live webcast was utilized throughout the conference, which aroused enthusiastic responses from all walks of life.
