On February 24, the Ministry of Education announced the results of the 2021 filing and approval of undergraduate programs in colleges and universities in China, including 4 new undergraduate programs of GUST, namely Integrated Circuit Design & Integrated System, Digital Media Technology, Cyberspace Security, and Supply Chain Management. The 4 new undergraduate programs will initiate enrollment this year. By then, the total number of undergraduate programs of GUST will reach 45 which include 21 undergraduate programs in engineering, 10 undergraduate programs in management, 5 undergraduate programs in economics, 4 undergraduate programs in literature, and 5 undergraduate programs in art. The newly added undergraduate programs aim to contribute to the development of the key strategic emerging industries in local area, and focus on the demand of enterprises for informatization talents in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
