A seminar on school-enterprise cooperation was held at Nancheng Campus on March 10. Chen Biaoxin, Deputy Secretary of the school Party Committee and Vice President of GUST, and Li Bing, Director of the Academic Affairs Department, attended the meeting. More than 30 people attended the seminar, including Ke Dengfeng, Deputy Director of the Employment and School-Enterprise Cooperation Office, deputy deans in charge of industry-education integration, and assistants of deans of secondary colleges, Deng Chao, Director of the Technology Department, and leaders and representatives of a number of 12 companies based in Dongguan. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Director Ke Dengfeng.
At the seminar, Vice President Chen Biaoxin said that GUST will actively explore new models of internship for students as well as for the integration of education and production, so as to tackle the problems related to student employment after graduation. At the same time, GUST will also collect feedback from enterprises on talent education, further deepen school-enterprise cooperation, and achieve school-enterprise co-construction and sharing, and win-win results.
