On June 1, the finals of the 7th "Nanbo Cup" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for College Students and the 8th "Internet+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held on Songshan Lake Campus. Experts and corporate executives including Chen Biaoxin, board director of Nanbo Group and co-president of Bosiyun Talent Network. The competition adopts the form of live broadcast, online and offline at the same time, attracting more than 3,000 people to watch.
The competition lasted for more than 2 months, and more than 12,000 students participated in over 5,400 projects. The participating projects involved artificial intelligence, information technology, cultural creativity, new media e-commerce and other fields.
After fierce competition, the "SAT" First-aid Platform Project and the Greenfield Technology Project won the first prize. Four teachers, Yang Wenfang, Chen Jiachun, Huang Zhiwei and Wang Shihao, won the Outstanding Instructor Award.
Vice President Chen Biaoxin made the final comment on the competition. He fully affirmed the innovative ideas and positive attitudes displayed by the 18 participating teams and hoped that the contestants would make persistent efforts after the competition. He also stated that after the competition, the school will provide professional guidance, resource connections and other services to help outstanding entrepreneurial projects to complete.
