The Second Nanbo Education Summit sponsored by the Institute of Education of Nanbo Group and co-sponsored by Guangdong University of Technology and Science (GUST), Guangzhou Nanyang Polytechnic College and South China Business Trade College was held successfully in Dongguan City on June 1st , which attracted more than 40 educational specialists and discussed about the cultivation of students and applied higher education.
Experts and scholars of fields related to education in China made speech at the summit, including Ji Ping, vice-chairman of the China Association of Non-government Education, director general of the Higher Education Specialized Committee and former director of Higher Education Evaluation Center of The Ministry of Education of China, made a speech at the meeting. Wang Rui, director of the Educational Policy Evaluation Department of National Center for Education Development Research of The Ministry of Education of China, Zhong Xiaoliu, vice-chairman of China Association For Educational Technology (CAET) and director of International Postgraduate Information Center of Tsinghua University, Xu Xuqin, president of Zhejiang Shuren University and National Research Association of Non-government Education, Zhu Ruiting, president of Shanghai Jian Qiao University, Wang Rihua, president of Xi’an International University and Liu Cangjing, deputy secretory general of Ideological and Political Higher Education Research of Guangdong Province. There were also about 200 famous teachers of universities and managers of the educational field attended the summit, which was hosted by Zhou Eryong, Board Director of Guangdong Nanbo Group, dean of Nanbo Education Research and executive vice-president of GUST.
Liu Dongfeng, founder and chairman of Guangdong Nanbo Group, made a speech at the summit. Nanbo Education Research was founded in 2017 and expected to be the think tank of Guangdong Nanbo Group, and it has founded a resource base of over 50 experts and scholars from Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR and Taiwan District. Also it strengthened cooperation between experts related to the field of education and famous universities.
