(Department of Party Affairs) The Economic Situation Report Meeting of Guangdong Province as well as the 4th Expanding Study Session of Theoretical Party Committee Center Group was held in Guangdong University of Science and Technology (GUST) on the afternoon of June 14th . Li Kaiyi, a member of Provincial Economic Situation Report Group and the Director of Research and Analysis Office of Guangzhou Customs District of the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China, was invited to attend the meeting and give a speech at the meeting.
More than 800 staff of GUST attended the meeting, including leaders of GUST, Liang Ruixiong, the General Secretary of Party Committee and President of GUST, Sun Jian, a member of Party Committee and Vice President of GUST, Zhao Huihua, a member of Party Committee and Vice President of GUST, the middle level cadre of GUST, secretaries of primary party organizations, assistants dealing with teaching and research affairs, school work assistants and representatives of teachers and students of secondary colleges. The meeting was hosted by Zhao Huihua, a member of Party Committee and Vice President of GUST.
Li Kaiyi pointed out that the economic downward pressure on the economy is facing increasing challenges at home and abroad, we must unalterably adhere to the high-quality economic development road. In order to grasp the opportunities in the construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, we must always follow the guidance of President Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese characteristics so as to turn challenges into opportunities and promote the economic and social development of Guangdong Province.
