(Party Work Department) To implement principles of propaganda and ideological work of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Propaganda and Ideological Work Meeting was solemnly held in the lecture hall on the 8th floor of administration building on the afternoon of June 20th. President and Secretary of the party Liang Ruixiong, Deputy Secretary of the party Chen Biaoxin, Vice President Sun Jian, Vice President Li Cai, a member of the party and Vice President Zhao Huihua, leaders of administrative departments, staff of propaganda department as well as management staff of website of school attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by a member of the party and Vice President Zhao Huihua.
At the beginning of the meeting, Chen Biaoxin, Deputy Secretary of the party announced the results of the website evaluation of the year 2018-2019 and leaders gave certificates of commendation to the advanced units and individuals.
Bi Huidong, Minister of Department of Party Affairs, made a final report on propaganda and ideological work of the year 2018-2019. Minister Bi concluded the major accomplishments and remaining issues of Department of Party Affairs and pointed out the main work to be finished next stage, including strict direction of ideology, assurance of campus security, promotion of cooperation with the media as well as the strengthening of staff construction.
President and Secretary of the party Liang Ruixiong delivered a speech and pointed out that the work of propaganda and ideology has achieved great success under the correct guidance of leaders of the party and with the endeavors made by all departments, teachers as well as students. He also gave some advice, which is, first of all, we need to strengthen the team construction of propaganda and ideological work; second, we should improve our ability of responding to the medias; third, we should improve the website construction and build a website that is “of high-level, influential and welcomed by teachers and students”. President Liang expressed his expectation that we build the cultural brand image of school and construct a high-level propaganda and ideology team.
The meeting determined the direction of the propaganda and ideological work of the school and pushed the ideological work to a new level.
