Dr. Simon Evans and Ms. Helen attended four lectures on the program to meet with the 2019 freshmen from the College of Foreign Languages at Songshan Lake campus on Sept. 27. About 300 students attended the lecture, including English majors, Business English majors as well as Chinese-English Translation majors. Dr. Simon Evans and Ms. Helen introduced ARU and the GUST-ARU joint program, and answered questions raised by students. The students who participated in the lecture said that it was great to know the international program at the very beginning of the study in university, which broadened their horizons and provided a brand-new direction for their academic career.

Since the establishment of the GUST-ARU joint program, our school has been actively improving the construction of the program together with ARU, which has sent many outstanding professors to our school to answer questions and solve related problems of the joint program for students, carried out open classes, and given lectures to help new students understand the program. In the future, GUST and ARU will continue to better build the program, provide professional courses and counseling for students in the 3+1 international class to help them grow into talents with international perspective.
