A seminar on the theme of "Do not forget the original heart, keep in mind the mission" was held in the lecture hall on the 8th floor of the administrative building of Nancheng Campus on the afternoon of October 11th. School Party Secretary Wu Nianxiang, President Liang Ruixiong, Party Committee Member and Vice President Wang Yanbin, Party Committee Member and Vice President Zhao Huihua, all middle-level cadres, grassroots party organizations secretaries, secondary school teaching and research assistants and academic assistants attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Bi Huidong, the directer of the Department of Party Affairs.

Cao Meiju, a professor of the Department of Ideological and Political Theory, conducted a special party course on the topic "Why does China have a strong Communist Party?" Professor Cao gave a party lesson from three aspects that only the Communist Party can save China, only the Chinese Communist Party can turn China into a rich and powerful country, and without the leadership of Chinese Communist Party our country will fall into civil strife. Professor Cao introduced a rich case of great achievements in people's life, culture and education, sports, science and technology engineering, and national defense construction under the leadership of the party since the founding of the People's Republic of China. Professor Cao's summary of history and reality fully proves that only the Chinese Communist Party can develop, prosper and strengthen China, and realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Shao Cuilan, deputy director of the Department of Teaching and Research Affairs, Hao Dehong, deputy dean of the College of Finance and Economics, Mo Fu, deputy dean of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and Tian Liwei, deputy dean of the College of Computer Science shared experience at the seminar on how to implement the theme of "Do not forget the original heart, keep in mind the mission" to the fundamental tasks of cultivating morals and talents.
