Deputy Director Peng Runhua of Songshan Lake Public Security Bureau led a delegation of 14 people from Shipan Public Security Bureau, Ecological Park Police Station, Shipai Traffic Police Brigade, Fulong Village Committee, Fulong Police Station and other units to the Songshan Lake Campus of Guangdong University of Science and Technology (GUST) held a second joint meeting on public security work on the afternoon of Nov 21, which was held in Room 305, Teaching Building No. 5. Li Cai and Deng Zhixiong, Vice Presidents of GUST, Li Ying, Deputy Director of the Department of Administration and Personnel , Xiao Bo, Deputy Director of the Department of Student Affairs, Ding Fei, Director of the Department of Security, Hu Yaohui, Project Manager of the Department of Property Management, and Wu Wenju, Deputy Director of the school guard attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Vice President Deng.
On behalf of GUST, Vice President Deng warmly welcomed the arrival of the leaders of the six units and reported in detail the development of the security and safety work of the Songshan Lake Campus of GUST this semester. He also hoped to further strengthen the communication with the police to ensure the safety of the campus together.
Vice President Li gave a detailed introduction to the future development plan of the Songshan Lake Campus and the achievements made so far. He expressed gratitude to the units for their guidance and assistance of the security work for GUST.
The leaders present at the meeting spoke respectively and shared professional guidance on issues such as campus stability, comprehensive security management and traffic safety.
Deputy Director Peng made a concluding speech, in which he emphasized the necessity of this meeting, fully affirmed the zero-alert situation and campus security work of our school in November, and gave some constructive guidance on the campus security work.
This meeting will play an important leading role in promoting the construction of the “Safe Campus” of GUST and effectively ensure the security and stability of our school.
