The Library of Nancheng campus of Guangdong University of Forestry and Technology (GUST) covers an area of 23,600 square meters, consisting of 7 large libraries of books of social science, natural science, English languages as well as computer science, a large conference room which can accommodate 680 audience and there are a total of 1,866 seats in the reading rooms in the library.
The Library of Songshan Lake Campus of GUST is still under construction and there is a transitional one which is on the second and third floors of the No. 3 Laboratory Building. The circulation desk is on the second floor and a comprehensive reading room is on the third floor, with a total of 356 comfortable seats for readers. The electronic reading room is equipped with 80 computers and is free for readers.
The library of GUST has a rich collection of 3.1 million books, including 1.95 million paper books, 1.15 million e-books, more than 11,000 electronic journals, and more than 70,000 CD-ROMs. 600 kinds of paper periodicals and 100 kinds of paper newspapers were ordered in 2019 and the system of book collection and comprehensive literature focusing on the teaching discipline has formed.
